Kate is a London-based printmaker, sculptor and painter. Following a rural childhood in North Norfolk, she has lived in London for the past 30 years. 

Kate’s printmaking reflects her love of nature and wry approach to life.

Kate creates bold, colourful, exuberant linocuts. Her subject matter often includes wild animals and landscape both rural and urban. She enjoys using bright and often contrasting colour in unexpected ways: this encourages the viewer to see the subject matter differently and to engage with it in a new way. Kate sees a direct link between her work as a sculptor and the 3D hands-on nature of creating and printing a linocut.

Kate often exhibits her work in group exhibitions and has regularly had her work selected for open exhibitions in London and elsewhere in the UK.  She is a member of the Printmakers Council and Chelsea Art Society.
