Damian is a visual artist and creative director with over 20 years experience in video design, specialising in live music and immersive experiences. He began print-making in 2016. He is inspired by pop culture and social politics and fascinated by the lines that separate supposedly high and lowbrow culture, darkness and humour etc, which he likes to deliberately blur, looking for an unfiltered emotional response in the viewer. He loves to capture fleeting, throw-away moments to use as ingredients in his work. Alongside snatched moments from his animated work, discarded notes and doodles, photographs of shadows, spillages, dropped and broken objects, even background details from the tv screen find their way into his compositions.
